plumbing - How to replace vent tee under kitchen sink - Home Improvement Stack Exchange


my garbage disposal empties trap. before trap, other sink drain joins vent tee. assuming in incorrect. occasionally, trap not empty fast enough , water + food climbs horizontal run of pipe, causing clog. assuming need replace vent tee sanitary tee.

my problem can not find replacement sanitary tee has top threaded. can not find male adapter maintains proper diameter. seeking advice on how redo this.

come think it, plumbing arrangement allowed? waste other drain, along dishwasher discharge flows line disposal. isn't other way around?

try replacing tee sanitary tee. use couplers create threaded ends on tee.
