i replaced shower cartridge , after turning water on got water hammer sounded in wall every time turned water in part of house on or off! i've never had issue before , bang 5 times after shutting water off in anywhere in bathroom or other bathroom on other side of wall. drained pipes several times replenish air stops nothing helped. talked few plumbers , no 1 figure out...

good news!!! after reading post halving trouble danco replacement went out , bought moen cartridge , water hammer went away! works perfect!! must have been cheap/faulty danco cartridge
